Mr. Darcy took one good look at the rain-drenched girl in front of him and wondered why she would
visit his residence at this time of night. There surely must have been an
important reason, why the girl decided to stop by his villa, while it was
pouring this badly. “Mr. Darcy” she said “I deeply apologize for disturbing you
at this late hour, I would not have come here, had it not been of great importance.”
She looked slightly worried about how
the intimidating man would react. “No
worries, you haven’t disturbed me in the least bit, you must be cold. Please do
come in and let me know what I can do for you.” In a gentleman-like manner, Mr.
Darcy held the door open to let the female in. With a thankful nod at the kind
Sir, she stepped into his warm home. “My name is Anya McClelland; I have come
here because of your colleague Mason Carlson. I’m his sister you see.” “Why what a great pleasure to meet you Mrs.
McClelland, though I imagine you already know who I am.”, replied Darcy in his
ruff man-like voice. “Why yes Sir, I am
very aware of who you are, this is also why I came to you exactly, you’re the
only one who could help me.”
