the literal translation of those sentences would be:

was lustig ist, ist, dass donald trump so ein heuchler ist
was dumm ist, ist, dass deutschland das spiel verloren hat

but u could also say
es ist lustig, dass...
es ist dumm, dass..

those sayings are used way more often than "was lustig ist, ist..." etc and also sound better but the first ones arent incorrect

Oh, ok. I actually though you mean those as questions. But that makes more sense. The only thing you'd need to do is to change the was ist to es ist lustig/dämlich/dumm/bescheuert/.., dass ...
so, basically what Ventricide said.
