My friends and I used to play what we called the "homeless game."
Rules of the game:
We leave our houses at 7:00 am regardless of weather. No cars, no cell phones. We had to bike, walk, or hitchhike everywhere. Each of us was to have only $5.00 in currency with us and a prop, like something to keep us entertained: A kite, a deck of cards, sidewalk chalk, a bottle of hooch.
Under no circumstances we're we to return home until 9:00 pm when we'd get together for a group movie and some cheap takeout.
It's amazing how much fun we had during those days when we were forced to use creativity rather than money to entertain ourselves.

ja ey im sommer könnte man statt den film auch ne grillrunde am ende veranstalten!!! oder während der wanderung nach einem ort suchen an dem man sterne beobachten kann (was ich mir auch vorgenommen habe!) liebe grillen

When I was in high school my friends and I used to do scavenger hunts during the summer. These weren't really about things you find, but more like things you do like "get pictures with 5 strangers" or "hold a conversation with a street sign for 5 minutes." It started out as just 4 of us goofing off but by the time we did our last one when we were 19, we had like 35 people and a list of well over 100 things to do. It was a lot of fun and really didn't cost us that much money and I have so many great memories from those days.
